Gurdwara Shahidganj Sahib is also known as Arigitha Sahib.
The District Administration places it approximately 50 metres west of the sarovar.
The site marks the traditional place where the bodies of the martyrs were cremated by Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
The first shrine at the site was built in 1870 by Raja Wazir Singh of Faridkot.
The present rectangular domed building was reconstructed through karseva during the 1980s.

Shahidganj Sahib commemorates the martyrs associated with the Battle of Muktsar and their final rites.
