Gurdwara Tibbi Sahib marks the sandy mound traditionally associated with Guru Gobind Singh Ji during the Battle of Muktsar.
The shrine was first established as a modest structure during the eighteenth century.
The District Administration records that it was reconstructed in 1843 by Sodhi Man Singh of ManSinghvala.
The present building was constructed during the 1950s under the supervision of Baba Baghel Singh, a follower of Sant Gurmukh Singh.

Tibbi Sahib is directly associated with the battlefield landscape of the historic Battle of Muktsar.
