The shrine was first established as a modest structure during the eighteenth century.

The District Administration records that it was reconstructed in 1843 by Sodhi Man Singh of ManSinghvala.

The present building was constructed during the 1950s under the supervision of Baba Baghel Singh, a follower of Sant Gurmukh Singh.
